Formerly a youth summer camp and later a NPS visitor center, Happy Days Lodge has spent years offering a haven in the midst of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The former lives of the building only add to the charm. The dark wood is a little spooky and mysterious while the open layout is perfect for hours of celebration. While nearly every kind of wedding will feel right at home, Happy Days Lodge is a spot where you can let your imagination run wild! 

Details of the Grounds

With Happy Days Lodge, you don’t have to leave the National Parks a single time throughout your wedding day. The moment you arrive, you will be whisked away to the dressing room where you can pop the champagne and get ready alongside your besties. For your actual ceremony, you will be able to opt for a service inside the lodge or outside on the grounds in the meadow. You can set your altar in front of the forest line for something a little dark and woodsy. 

For your cocktail hour, your guests can head outside to the patio before heading into the event hall for your reception. The interior has been painted a dark shade of espresso, while the stage is the perfect spot to put your entertainment. With string lights hanging from the barn ceiling, it’s warm and intimate for your legendary party. Happy Days Lodge is ready to host up to 200 guests. 

Photography Opportunities

While the interior offers floor-to-ceiling windows for naturally lit pics, the outside of Happy Days Lodge is where your wedding photos will shine. The surrounding park area features tree-lined forest roads, open fields, bridges, and climbable rocks. The iconic lodge exterior is also a great background!
